Defendify was recently featured at TechCrunch Disrupt, the internationally recognized tech startup conference, held in San Francisco October 2-4. Defendify joined other cutting-edge startups from around the globe for three days of innovation, education, and inspiration.
Defendify was one of eight companies selected to exhibit in the Maine Pavilion, a section of the event’s Startup Alley that features companies from the state of Maine. Maine Pavilion companies were chosen by Startup Maine, a nonprofit that promotes startups and entrepreneurship in the state. Maine is home to a vibrant, growing technology and startup scene, and Defendify was thrilled to represent our home state on the global stage.
TechCrunch is a publisher and website dedicated to profiling and reviewing technology and internet products and companies that are making an impact. Disrupt is TechCrunch’s premier startup event and is where the world gathers to see rising startup stars. In addition to providing opportunities for startups to meet investors, venture capitalists, and fellow innovators, TechCrunch Disrupt is well-known as a platform for entrepreneurs to introduce their product and business to the world. The event is watched closely by industry leaders for new and innovative companies making a splash on the startup scene, and is where many renowned companies got their start.
Defendify was founded on the principle of helping small businesses navigate the cybersecurity landscape and protect themselves against growing and evolving cyber-threats. The team knows firsthand the challenges that come with running a startup—in many ways, the epitome of a small business.
