Defendify hosted a meetup of cybersecurity and privacy professionals on February 13th at the startup company’s home office in Portland, Maine. The event attracted a great turnout of local people—from lawyers to students to developers—involved in the cybersecurity, privacy, and technology field.
Informal meetups are a great way to get acquainted with the community and others doing great things in your space, and this event was no exception: Attendees had the chance to network with other local cybersecurity and privacy professionals and learn a little bit about Defendify and other companies doing great things in cybersecurity and privacy. Additionally, guests had the opportunity to show off their knowledge in a cybersecurity trivia competition—with fabulous prizes, of course.
With the recent news of the Roux Institute graduate school and research center planned for Portland, it’s an exciting time to be part of Maine’s up-and-coming tech scene. Defendify is proud to be a Maine company, and looks forward to continued involvement in the technology and cybersecurity community.
